Bridgeport, WVThe Northern West Virginia National Contract Management Association (NCMA) has announced that Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) CEO Arria Hines will present at the March meeting.

In her address entitled “Stop and Smell the Roses: Who Has Time for That?” Hines will compare how building a small business focused on providing technical and management support services to the government is similar to riding a roller coaster. The start is slow and steep and once it picks up speed there is no getting off.

A recognized leader throughout the region, Hines is an inspiring example for women CEOs in West Virginia and throughout the country. Her passion to mentor and give back to small businesses is a prime example as to why she has become a powerful, collaborative leader in today’s evolving business climate.

“Arria is a remarkable woman, she has turned her ideas into a reality, building a successful business and in the process becoming a role model for other women who want to start their own,” said Roya Mayer, President, NCMA. “Her story inspires you and leaves you fired up, ready to achieve incredible things!”

The event will take place on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clarksburg, W.Va from 5-7 p.m. Please visit www.ncmawv.com to register.
