McLean, VA – Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) unveiled a new corporate logo today as part of its new branding campaign. The award winning, small business, government services provider has been ranked among the top federal contractors and engineering firms in the country for two consecutive years.

“The company is on the verge of transformation with our accelerated growth”, said Bob Wentz, AST Operating Partner. “Our new logo is a reflection of that transformation and the evolution of our brand.”

In July 2009, AST was awarded its first federal contract by the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center’s (GSFC) NASA IV&V Facility to provide program and knowledge management support with just two employees.

By year-end, AST expects to have nearly 200 employees in 15 states with offices in West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Idaho, New Mexico, and Colorado. In June 2015, AST was named the U.S. Department of Energy 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Business of the Year.
