McLean, VA – Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) has named Deanna Doan director, leading defense and intelligence programs. Doan will succeed George Spencer, who will remain with AST as executive vice president focused on the company’s strategic growth and emerging capability supporting Federal research, development and demonstration (RD&D) customers.

 

Doan brings nearly 20 years of corporate growth, program management, and organizational improvement experience to AST, as well as deep expertise in strategic planning, business transformation, and change management.  Most recently, she led capture efforts for intelligence community programs at the Logistics Management Institute (LMI).  Prior to that role, she served in a number of program management and customer delivery roles at Northrop Grumman and TASC, including advising senior intelligence community leaders on strategic planning, process improvement and communication initiatives.

 

Doan holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in Operations Research from George Mason University.  She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma green belt.
