Tysons, VA – Allegheny Science & Technology (AST) has been selected for award of an Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Master Contract from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Idaho Operations Office (DOE-ID) to provide engineering and facilitation services for the DOE, Office of Nuclear Energy (DOE-NE), and DOE-ID. The IDIQ was awarded to multiple vendors and is valued at over $19M with a five-year period of performance.

Under the scope of work, AST and its teaming partner, Advanced Systems Technology and Management, Inc. (AdSTM), will provide technical assistance in the performance of engineering reviews and analysis, technical evaluations, regulatory reviews, cost estimating, program management, management assessments, and technical monitoring.

About DOE NE and DOE-ID

DOE-NE and DOE-ID support national energy policy through review and assessment of civilian nuclear energy technology. They also plan research and development initiatives directed at addressing needs related to sustaining this important energy source. For example, current programs include Fuel Cycle Technologies, Nuclear Energy Enabling Technologies, Advanced Reactor Technologies, Nuclear Energy University Program, Advanced Modeling and Simulation, and International Nuclear Energy Policy and Cooperation.
